My Review: 3 stars

The creativity that pulled this book together is astounding. It’s a story that mixes science fiction, fantasy and history and presents itself in the current day. The writing was weak at times, but overall the pure oddity of this book, forgives those moments. The main protagonist, Ember, is beyond different, and as she comes of age, we follow her story as she embarks upon her most unusual past. I mostly would recommend this book to those who follow science fiction or fantasy.
