A quick, fast paced read with lots of twists to keep you engaged. I really hated the cover because the character I assumed it portrayed looked nothing like this woman. There was a lot of deceit, cover-ups and lies but they seemed to work well in the book. At times I felt it hard to believe some of it, but honestly, I’ve seen so much over the years, that I believe truth is often odder than fiction, and so I fell for it all in this book.
Beyond the deceit, there was a good mix of friendship, mother-daughter relationships and love.
